Alex Krylov is a specialist in digital privacy and electronic marketing, bringing 10 years of experience in privacy program management to data-driven organizations. Krylov currently serves as the senior privacy analyst for Experian’s digital advertising and identity resolution capabilities and is the compliance leader for Experian’s cross-channel marketing practice. As part of his multifaceted role, Krylov helps internal businesses and marketers navigate complex regulatory requirements and implement industry best practices with their direct, mobile and interactive marketing efforts across channels, borders and devices.
Before joining Experian Marketing Services, Krylov worked with mobile marketing firm Snackable Media where he oversaw compliance with Mobile Marketing Association guidelines and wireless carrier operating requirements. Prior to Snackable Media, Krylov served as a compliance manager at Azoogle, then the largest performance-based affiliate marketing network in North America. During his tenure at Azoogle, Krylov assisted the Florida Attorney General’s Office in developing auditable compliance standards for premium rate Short Message Service (SMS) products. After key settlements with wireless network carriers, these standards became the backbone of the Mobile Marketing Association’s self-regulatory framework.
Krylov is passionate about privacy-positive business practices and customer centricity. He regularly shares his opinion and commentary within the community of privacy thought leaders at industry events and Webinars and through blog contributions. Krylov is a member of the Email Sender and Provider Coalition (ESPC) and the Interactive Advertising Bureau Legal Policy Committee and is active in a number of New York–based privacy working groups. He also is a Certified Information Privacy Professional with a focus in privacy program development, issue remediation and education.
